Fi Europe 2023: What to Know 

Bringing together more than 26,000 professionals from across 130 countries, Fi Europe is the foremost global trade show in food ingredients. Fi Europe unites leading ingredient suppliers, food and beverage manufacturers, and ingredient exporters for an unmatched opportunity in networking and industry learning. 

This show spans all facets of the food ingredients sector—from R&D and procurement to marketing and distribution—and is known for its emphasis on the latest ingredient technologies and trends. Fi Europe 2023 will run 28-30 November in Germany at Messe Frankfurt, Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, 60327 Frankfurt am Main, with the following schedule:

• 28 November: 10:00–18:00

• 30 November: 10:00–16:00

We are excited to be attending Fi Europe, where our booth will feature our new look! We'll also have some innovative ingredients and prototypes under our theme of "Future of Nutrition: Function + Flavour." It's an area of significant relevance to our food, beverage and supplement customers.

The Future of Nutrition: Function + Flavour

Our theme captures what a growing number of food and beverage consumers are requesting, and what we see as the future of nutrition. 

The first part is function. Function is the driver of consumer purchases of better-for-you foods and beverages—including functional benefits from high protein and fibre, energy- and mood-boosting ingredients, and micronutrients that support a healthy immune system, digestion, and more.

But consumers also want flavour. They are unwilling to compromise on taste and are looking for healthier options that provide the indulgent, savoury, and adventurous flavours they get from regular snacks and beverages. That’s why function plus flavour will be the next wave in better-for-you eating.

What We’re Showing

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Crunchie Milk Protein Bites, which can be sampled at the reception counter, and featured in the New Product Zone. These are an exciting new addition to our line of semi-finished extruded pieces, with high protein and an enjoyable crunch that's perfect for high-protein breakfast cereals, as well as sweet or savoury snacks.

We will also be exhibiting a range of other prototypes focused on healthy snacking, energy, and hydration, available for customer demonstrations. These prototypes will showcase several of our new ingredients, including:

• OvenPro™Sweet Goods is a functional bakery solution designed for protein fortification of bakery applications delivering superior texture and flavour. 
• NutraShield™ microencapsulated solutions that allow for a more effective dosage by masking for instance caffeine bitterness, resulting in great tasting energy gummies.
