This year’s World Championship Cheese Contest took place on March 5th-6th in Green Bay, Wisconsin and hosted over 400 dairy companies and cooperatives from around the world. There were 3,302 entries across 142 classes, with representation from 25 countries and 32 U.S. states. Our Idaho, New Mexico and Michigan manufacturing sites were among the winner’s circle with a total of 23 medals, including eight gold medals, six silver medals, and nine bronze medals.
The winning products include our core competencies like Colby, Colby Jack, Cheddar, Monterey Jack and Whey Protein Concentrate and Isolate as well as New Product Development products like Black Pepper Cheddar, Manchego, and Sweet Heat Habanero.

Glanbia Nutritionals has entered Cheese products and Whey ingredients in both the U.S. and World Contests for many years and continues to bring home medals, with 275 to date.
